New work up. I spent the afternoon yesterday converting a small storage room in our basement to a working studio! I've got my new easel set up, and I used two doors supported by some chairs to create a wrap-around desk. There was even a rolled up carpet in the room that just happened to fit perfectly. I bought an extension cord and some shop lamps at Lowes, and I hooked up a stereo. It's not so creepy down there anymore! I was really excited to get to work, so I started re-working an older painting, you know, to christen the studio. I'm hoping to get some serious work done down there! My room mate Kai is an architecture major, and he may be "moving in" to the spare desk during winter break.
